ICRCPREWIN: Recipe Challenge - 2nd Round of DT Inspiration

Hey Everyone!

Here is my 2nd card for the the current RECIPE challenge at the INDIAN CRAFT ROOM

So, I wanted to talk a bit about LIGHTING for my projects!  Oh my!  I was having a difficult time with lighting up my cards for a picture, as I mostly craft at night now.  After visiting craft blogs galore and seeing the different setups for picture taking, I decided I should invest in a soft box and tabletop lights. The set up does take up a bit of table space, but it's worth it!

I opt to have natural lighting along with this, but for night time picture taking, this set up is perfect. The lights came in time for me to take my pic, so here it is.  Not so shabby ;)  Will keep playing around with the set up!

Here is my card for the 2nd round of DT inspiration...

ICRCPREWIN02: Recipe Challenege

Hey Everyone!

Hope you'll join us for our current challenge over at the INDIAN CRAFT ROOM! Hope you'll stop by and join us!

Here is our challenge...
ICRCPREWIN02: Recipe Challenge

This was a a fun challenge, and I'm sharing both of my inspirations for this month today, but will post separately.

Here is my first card....

I used the Joy Fold Technique (aka gatefold technique).  I think "Joy Fold" sounds so much more fitting - tis the season!  I decorated the inside with a dark green ribbon which looks black in the picture, and reminds me of Santa's outfit.  Not what I was trying for, but I think it works :)
The DP and Christmas embellishment I've been hanging onto for a few years, so was happy to finally use them.
