Beautiful Mermaid - Magic Slider Card

Hi Everyone!

I have a magic slider card to share with you.  The acetate technique is so cool!   I learned this technique via onlinecardclasses.com.   I'm sure there are some videos for it on youtube, but I like this tutorial as it easily gets you through all the scores and cuts.  I've made a few cards using this technique, and directions from the tutorial have worked like a charm each time. Definitely check it out!

I used the adorable "Just Keep Swimming" stamp set from Love Cynthia.  This is my first set from Love Cynthia, and I just placed an order for two more!

Mermaid Wishes - Watercoloring

Hi Everyone,

I have a birthday card today that I wanted to share.  The stamps and sentiment is from the Beautiful Mermaid set by Cynthia Love.  I ADORE Cynthia's stamp sets, and was lucky to get this from Ruby via de-stash...yay!   They are not easy to come by, as they come directly from France.  I hope to get my hands on a few more sets soon.

Here is my card...

I stamped the images and sentiment onto distress watercolor cardstock with some Versamark ink.  I then water colored the background using my distress inks brush.  The images were colored in using my zig watercolor markers.  I used some glossy accents on the shells and starfish hair pin.  I also used my copic spica glitter pens on the fishtail.

You Octopi My Heart - Water Shaker Card

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with my 2nd card of the day!  This past fall, I took the "Wild Card" class over at onlinecardclasses.com.   I learned some neat tips and tricks that I have since been using when creating my cards.  I recommend trying these classes...they are brought to us by Jennifer McGuire and Kristin Werner, and are also taught by their talented friends.  This technique in particular was taught by Kelly Marie!

This card is filled with glitter and water!  There is a trick on making the water a bit more thicker than normal, so that it moves slowly....it's really neat!

I'm entering this into the Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.  Challenge asks what our favorite took it.  At this moment, my favorite has to be my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine!

I LOVE Flowers

Hi Everyone,

Here is another "love" card for Valentine's Day.  I saw Laura Bassen create a card for Simon Says Stamp on youtube, and was in LOVE with the floral designs and bright colors she used.  I tried to make a card similar to it with another stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  Please check out her video here, and leave her some love...she makes the most wonderful creations!
