Red Wagon "Happy Birthday" Card

Hi Everyone!

So I just wanted to share with you a site that I placed an order from this week.  It's called Doodle Bug, and I placed my Mini Misti order with them (so excited!!!).  I placed the order yesterday, and the items are already on their way...super fast service!  Also, orders over $20 ship for free.  Normally free shipping means a long wait, so I feel this is practically free shipping!

Excited to finally use this stamp set from Your Next Stamp!  I saw the perfect challenge at YNS, so had to lay it out for that.  I used zig brush markers to color in the girl, dog, and pink balloon.  That shade of pink is so pretty and bring out the pink in the DP!  The designer papers are from Echo Park, and of course the stamped images and sentiment are from Your Next Stamp - "Phoebe and her Wagon"- LOVE their stamps and hope to shop for a new set this week!
Here is my card!

This card reminds me so much of my puppy, who is no longer a puppy, but a 10 year old sheltie.  She is mostly inside the house these days because of arthritis.  We'll be visiting the park a lot this summer with the baby I'm sure, so I've been wanting to get a red wagon that we can pull our fur baby along in.  I'm sure she'd love it!

Thanks for stopping by!

ICRCSPR01 - 2nd Round of DT Inspiration

Hi Everyone,

We're back with a round of DT inspiration over at the INDIAN CRAFT ROOM.

Here is our FLORAL challenge :)  The twist being that it can be anything BUT a card.  Loving Bhavana's challenge for the month, as it got me creating something other than a card.

Here is my project...

I made a wine bottle tag for this challenge. I used a template that my friend and I had created for a party last year (template below). I layered cardstock over sparkly gold chevron paper.  I also added gold paper to the ends of the clothespin.  I stamped the sentiment onto vellum and attached it to the clothespin.

Here's the Wine Tag Template for you!

I started playing with my inlikz account again, and look forward to having my supplies listed at the bottom of all of my future posts.

Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Card!

Hi Everyone,

I'm stuck in the house all weekend long as I'm under the weather.  The hubby took our daughter out for the day to avoid catching what I have.  I made the most of that time, when my fever came down.

Finished up this cute little card, using my Simon Says Kit of the Month for March.  LOVE this kit!  I especially love the cute stamps and dies that go with them.  It's been sold out twice now....I can see why.

I used a mason jar stamp from Inkadinkado, stamped onto white cardstock, and then glued the sequins onto it.  It is NOT a shaker card.  I guess you can call it a faux shaker card?!  The lace trim is from Recollections (Michael's) which I used under the jar lid and also sued at the bottom for the "picnic" blanket.

I made this card in particular for the sketch and color challenge #34 happening over at Your Next Stamp.
I also have stamp set from the YNS that I recently ordered, so hope I get to use it this weekend.

Here's my card...

ICRCSPR01 - Anything Goes with Flowers + Twist

Hey Everyone!

We have a new challenge over at the INDIAN CRAFT ROOM!  This one is brought to you by our DT Bhavana!

Spring is on it's way here in the US, so no better way to start it off with a fresh new FLORAL challenge :)  The twist being that it can be anything BUT a card.

Here is our challenge...

Cards and layouts are my thing, so this challenge was a bit different yet fun to come up with.  I kept it simple as I'd like to eventually place the tag on a card hehehehe...we'll see!

Here is my tag...

I used Tim Holts Distress inks for the background and stitched dies by Lawn Fawn.  I glued flowers onto mini clothes pins which are clipped onto the twine.

Going to try to do something COMPLETELY different for the next round of DT inspiration.  I have a few "baby" related projects I've been wanting to do, but have been putting off, so this challenge may be a great way to complete it.

Also wanted to share that I was a challenge winner over at Crafting by Designs for their Tic Tac Toe Challenge...very exciting!

Hope you'll join us for this current challenge over at the INDIAN CRAFT ROOM!

Thanks for stopping by!
