I LOVE Flowers

Hi Everyone,

Here is another "love" card for Valentine's Day.  I saw Laura Bassen create a card for Simon Says Stamp on youtube, and was in LOVE with the floral designs and bright colors she used.  I tried to make a card similar to it with another stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  Please check out her video here, and leave her some love...she makes the most wonderful creations!

Love and Smiles!

Hi Everyone, 

Only a few days until Valentine's Day, so I have cards to share :)  

Here is one using the "Love and Smiles" stamp and "Scripty Love" die from Your Next Stamp.  I'm in LOVE with this die!

Here is my card...

The bunny dig and balloons were colored using kuretake.  I didn't have a stencil for the clouds, so I die cut clouds using Lawn Fawn's Puffy cloud borders dies to use as a stencil.  I then used distress inks to create the cloud look.  For the small clouds that the bunny is sitting on, I used one of the cloud dies from paper smooches (lost the other two dies - eye roll!).  The "love" sentiment from YNS was die cut and colored, using zig markers.  I used glossy accents on the heart balloons and heart that sits above the bunny's head.

Let it Snow!

Hi Everyone!

Anybody who knows me well, knows that I absolutely love SNOW. 

So I'm very excited for the first snow storm of the season!   

Winter Storm Niko is expected to give us 10"-12" of snow by the end of day...eek!

Looking forward to being snowed in, snuggles with my babies, some comfort food, and a little bit of crafting.  If you're expecting snow as well, stay warm!

Here is a winter birthday card I made...tad bit fitting ;-)

I used the sketch from the Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge.  The cute "Mini Skating Fhiona" stamp is from YNS, and the "happy birthday" die and stamp are from Hero Arts.

I used a molotow masking marker to cover up the stamp and put down the blue background using distress ink.  LOVE the molotow as it saves me a lot of time from having to fuzzy cut images.  I then removed the molotow masking and colored in my image using zig watercolor markers. 

I added glossy accents to the skating surface.  I also used my copic spica glitter pen to go over the "birthday" sentiment.
