Little Lion "Congrats" card

Hi Everyone!

This is my 2nd card using the turnabout stamp!  I used different colors for this one.
I completed this card from the Let It Shine Lesson 1 - Glitter

Here is my card...

I created the background using the Triangle Turnabout Stamp from Concord & 9th.  I used a combination of Distress Oxide Inks and Lawn Fawn Pigment inks for the background.  The stamped lion image is from Imaginese, and was a free stamp I received from Doodlebugswa.com a while back. I remember coloring the image right away using my zig markers...the image has sat on my desk ever since!  I used silver glitter paper for the "Congrats" sentiment die, which is from Pink and Main.

I used the color inspiration from The Color Throwdown -  CTD516

Baby "Welcome" Card

Hi Everyone!

Good to be back again!  I took some time this weekend to organize my craft area, and found my craft mojo in the process!  I churned out some cards, and look forward to sharing them this week!

Back in the Spring, I was accepted into Altenew Academy's Altenew Educator Certification Program. I wasn't able to dive right in this past summer, but time is finally on my side!  I'm a big fan of EVERYTHING Altenew, and so this is all very exciting for me.  I'm looking forward to taking the classes and creating my projects!

I became an aunt to two baby boys this past summer, so I have been itching to create a few baby themed cards...I used one of may favorite stamp sets from Your Next Stamp for this one.  I completed this card from the Let It Shine Lesson 3 - Embellishments class.

Here is my card...

I created the background using the Triangle Turnabout Stamp from Concord & 9th.  I am really loving this stamp , and left it right in my Misti so that I can create some more backgrounds this week.  I used Distress Oxide Inks and Lawn Fawn ink for the background.  The stamped image and sentiment are from the "Woodland Cuties" set from Your Next Stamp.  I topped off the card with clear "Sunshine Mix" Sequins from Simon Says Stamp. I also gave the raccoon some googly eyes!

"Love" - Selfie Card

Hi Everyone!

So happy to be back even if it's for a little bit.  I haven't been actively posting as I've been spending a lot of time with my girls.

I cleaned up my desk last night, so here's to hoping I get some cards done before it becomes messy again!

I received a Valentine's Day card request from a friend yesterday, and put this together last night.  It's similar to one I created in the past.  LOVE this adorable "selfie" couple stamp for Love Cynthia.

Here is my card...

I created the background using distress inks and a stencil from MFT.  The stamped image is from Love Cynthia, and was colored in using copics.  The "love" sentiment die is from Your Next Stamp.  I topped off the cell phone and heart shaped hair pin with glossy accents.

Boss Lady "Happy Birthday" Card

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made for Etsy.   This was a first, and I absolutely love the "boss lady" energy this card gives out!  I went with the heels for this one and will have to try a handbag next time.  I gave the heels the Louboutin look with the red bottoms.

Here is my card...

I stamped the heels stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop's "Stay Classy" set, and colored it with copic markers.

I used a Lawn Fawn "Stitched Hillside Border" die for the curved edge on the gold and layered a black card stock on top of it.   I die cut the the Paper Smooches "happy birthday" die in gold.

The sentiment was printed out and I placed everything onto a white base.

Large Peony - Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made using the Large Peony Stamp from The Ton Stamps.  The Ton has gorgeous floral sets!

Here is my card...

I stamped the Large Peony stamp and leaves onto vellum using versamark and then heat embossed it using rose gold embossing powder from The Ton.

I colored the flower using copic markers and then cut the peony and leaves out.  I adhered them to a piece of shimmer cardstock.  This was then adhered to a black piece of cardstock which was embossed using a We R Memory Keepers embossing folder.

The piece was then attached to a base card and topped off with a "happy" sentiment diecut from Hero Arts, and a printed "birthday" sentiment.

Magical Dragons - "Birthday" Card

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made using the adorable Magical Dragons Stamp Set from My Favorite Things, and my new Distress Oxide Inks...yep I got them...got them all!  I made this card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch challenge - sketch 340.

Here is my card...

I created the background using distress oxide inks which I sprayed with water.  T water was fused with some silver perfect pearls, so it's sparkling!  I colored the dragons with my kuretake zig markers, and went over the green with a green spica glitter pen.

I die cut clouds using "stitched cloud" dies from MFT,  adhered them to silver paper, and then cut out the clouds/paper layers using a circle die.  I trimmed off the bottom of the circle to finish it off.

The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from MFT's "Up in the Air" stamp set.

Peony Bouquet - "Congrats" Card

Hi Everyone!

Spring/Summer means a lot of engagements, bridal showers, and weddings!  I've been making some "congrats" cards just for that.   Here is a recent one...

I created the flowers using the layering Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew...gorgeous set!  There were 4 layers to the peony, but I used 3 layers for mine.  I used the "congrats" stamp from Honey Bee Stamps, and topped it off with some gems.  I layered it on top of some pink glitter paper, and then adhered it to the card.  I realized afterwards,  that I didn't stamp leaves lol....next time!
