"Magnificent Magnolias" Card

Hi Everyone!

Sharing a card I made using the "Magnificent Magnolias" Stamp Floral Stamp Set from The Ton Stamps.

Here is my card...

I stamped the "Magnificent Magnolias" stamp and colored in the flower with gray at first.  I ended up adding more color to it though.

I stamped the background striped using the "Haute Stripes Cling Background" stamp.  The "hello, lovely" sentiment was stamped onto shimmer paper, cut out, and adhered to the front using pop-up adhesive.

I topped off the card with clear "Sunshine Mix" Sequins from Simon Says Stamp.

"Beautiful Bloom" Card

Hi Everyone!

Finally got my hands on the "Beautiful Bloom" stamp by MFT.  LOVE IT!

I've been having a ton of fun playing along with Kathy Rac's 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  I've been swatching copics and trying out new combos.  This is definitely a favorite.

Here is my card...

I stamped the "Beautiful Bloom" stamp on both corners of the card.  The bottom image was a bit off, so I stamped it again and added it over the original blooper image.

I die cut the "Congrats" sentiment with Pink & Main Dies. The bottle layer die was cut in vellum and the top die was cut in glitter cardstock. I also added some glitter cardstock to the bottom edge of the top layer.

I topped off the card with clear "Sunshine Mix" Sequins from Simon Says Stamp.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Valentine’s Day!  I feel this day is all about love and kindness.  Hope you are celebrating and spreading it in some way.

I made this card for our daughter to open up at her pre-school.  We just got a picture via text, showing her opening it...love!

Here is my card...

I created the background using distress inks and a stencil from MFT.  The stamped image is from Love Cynthia, and was colored in using copics.  The "i love you” sentiment die is from Lawn Fawn.  I cut off the I as the card was coming from mom, dad, and sis.  I topped off the hearts and hair pin with glossy accents.

Congratulations - Peony Bouquet

Hi Everyone!

I've been taking part in Kathy Rac's 30 Day Coloring Challenge this month, and have actually been able to keep up with it!  I colored the images earlier this week, and finally put together the final piece.

Here is my card...

I created the flowers using the layering Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew.  In love with this set!  I use both distress inks and my zig markers on the images, and colored them in using my Wink of Stella marker.   I used Nuvo Dots to top if off.

"A Lil' Magic" - Unicorn Card

Hi Everyone!

I colored in this stamp a while back, and finally created a card base for it.  As you can see, it's a card without a sentiment.  I'm going to give it to a niece of mine so that she can gift it to a friend.

Here is my card...

To create the background, I used a layer of distress ink, and then stenciled on a darker distress ink over the "Tiny Spaced Hearts" stencil by Simon Says Stamp.  The stamped image is from The Greeting Farm, and was colored in using copics.  I topped off the card with some

Harry and Hermione - Thank You Card

Hi Everyone!

Happy Friday to you!  Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend ahead.  I'm ready to kick back and binge watch!

I wanted to share another Harry Potter themed card with you.  It's a card that was requested by a friend.  I didn't have much time to put it together, so I kept it fairly simple.  As much as I like the outside, I LOVE the inside hehe.

Here is my card...

The stamped images are from My Sweet Stamp Shop.  They were colored in using my copic markers.  I die cut the Lawn Fawn sentiment against the white cardstock, and then again using red cardstock.  I glued the red die cut sentiment in such a way, that it borders the white....love this look.

Lovable Leopards - Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year!  I wanted to share a cute card using the "Lovable Leopards" stamp set by My Favorite Things,

I diecut a circle from the front of the card, and stamped my images onto a smaller folded card inside.  The bottom of the white cardstock was adhered to the bottom of the kraft card, and tied twine around the two.  I had fun coloring these cuties, using my copic markers.

I used the "Happy" and "Birthday" sentiment stamps from Hero Arts for the front.   I also used some Glossy Accents on the leaves (pic is a bit blurry), and sparkly dot embellishments both inside and outside of the card.

I made an envelope for the card, and topped it off with this stamped bird...too tweet!

I hope you like my card!  I completed this card for the Let it Shine Lesson 3 - Embellishments.

"Pumpkin" Cross Stitch Card

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made using cross-stiching.  I saw inspired by Jennifer McGuire's cross stitch videos a while back, and was finally able to give it a try!   I went with a simple pumpkin design for my first go around.  Although it took some time, it was definitely therapeutic.

Here is my card and a close up of the stitching and sparkly cardstock...

I used the Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock for my card base.  The cross stitch die is by Paper Smooches.  I die cut the cross stitch patter twice, and then colored in the holes that I would be threading through.  This was my template and it's one I can use over and over again. Afer I finished cross stiching the pumpkin, I taped down the ends with the scotch tape.
I used Paper Smooches Leaves Dies and the "thanks" die by Your Next Stamp.  I layered my finished card stock onto some glitter cardstock before adhering it to my base card stock.

Little Lion "Congrats" card

Hi Everyone!

This is my 2nd card using the turnabout stamp!  I used different colors for this one.
I completed this card from the Let It Shine Lesson 1 - Glitter

Here is my card...

I created the background using the Triangle Turnabout Stamp from Concord & 9th.  I used a combination of Distress Oxide Inks and Lawn Fawn Pigment inks for the background.  The stamped lion image is from Imaginese, and was a free stamp I received from Doodlebugswa.com a while back. I remember coloring the image right away using my zig markers...the image has sat on my desk ever since!  I used silver glitter paper for the "Congrats" sentiment die, which is from Pink and Main.

I used the color inspiration from The Color Throwdown -  CTD516

Baby "Welcome" Card

Hi Everyone!

Good to be back again!  I took some time this weekend to organize my craft area, and found my craft mojo in the process!  I churned out some cards, and look forward to sharing them this week!

Back in the Spring, I was accepted into Altenew Academy's Altenew Educator Certification Program. I wasn't able to dive right in this past summer, but time is finally on my side!  I'm a big fan of EVERYTHING Altenew, and so this is all very exciting for me.  I'm looking forward to taking the classes and creating my projects!

I became an aunt to two baby boys this past summer, so I have been itching to create a few baby themed cards...I used one of may favorite stamp sets from Your Next Stamp for this one.  I completed this card from the Let It Shine Lesson 3 - Embellishments class.

Here is my card...

I created the background using the Triangle Turnabout Stamp from Concord & 9th.  I am really loving this stamp , and left it right in my Misti so that I can create some more backgrounds this week.  I used Distress Oxide Inks and Lawn Fawn ink for the background.  The stamped image and sentiment are from the "Woodland Cuties" set from Your Next Stamp.  I topped off the card with clear "Sunshine Mix" Sequins from Simon Says Stamp. I also gave the raccoon some googly eyes!

"Love" - Selfie Card

Hi Everyone!

So happy to be back even if it's for a little bit.  I haven't been actively posting as I've been spending a lot of time with my girls.

I cleaned up my desk last night, so here's to hoping I get some cards done before it becomes messy again!

I received a Valentine's Day card request from a friend yesterday, and put this together last night.  It's similar to one I created in the past.  LOVE this adorable "selfie" couple stamp for Love Cynthia.

Here is my card...

I created the background using distress inks and a stencil from MFT.  The stamped image is from Love Cynthia, and was colored in using copics.  The "love" sentiment die is from Your Next Stamp.  I topped off the cell phone and heart shaped hair pin with glossy accents.

Boss Lady "Happy Birthday" Card

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made for Etsy.   This was a first, and I absolutely love the "boss lady" energy this card gives out!  I went with the heels for this one and will have to try a handbag next time.  I gave the heels the Louboutin look with the red bottoms.

Here is my card...

I stamped the heels stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop's "Stay Classy" set, and colored it with copic markers.

I used a Lawn Fawn "Stitched Hillside Border" die for the curved edge on the gold and layered a black card stock on top of it.   I die cut the the Paper Smooches "happy birthday" die in gold.

The sentiment was printed out and I placed everything onto a white base.

Large Peony - Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made using the Large Peony Stamp from The Ton Stamps.  The Ton has gorgeous floral sets!

Here is my card...

I stamped the Large Peony stamp and leaves onto vellum using versamark and then heat embossed it using rose gold embossing powder from The Ton.

I colored the flower using copic markers and then cut the peony and leaves out.  I adhered them to a piece of shimmer cardstock.  This was then adhered to a black piece of cardstock which was embossed using a We R Memory Keepers embossing folder.

The piece was then attached to a base card and topped off with a "happy" sentiment diecut from Hero Arts, and a printed "birthday" sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!

Magical Dragons - "Birthday" Card

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made using the adorable Magical Dragons Stamp Set from My Favorite Things, and my new Distress Oxide Inks...yep I got them...got them all!  I made this card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch challenge - sketch 340.

Here is my card...

I created the background using distress oxide inks which I sprayed with water.  T water was fused with some silver perfect pearls, so it's sparkling!  I colored the dragons with my kuretake zig markers, and went over the green with a green spica glitter pen.

I die cut clouds using "stitched cloud" dies from MFT,  adhered them to silver paper, and then cut out the clouds/paper layers using a circle die.  I trimmed off the bottom of the circle to finish it off.

The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from MFT's "Up in the Air" stamp set.

Peony Bouquet - "Congrats" Card

Hi Everyone!

Spring/Summer means a lot of engagements, bridal showers, and weddings!  I've been making some "congrats" cards just for that.   Here is a recent one...

I created the flowers using the layering Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew...gorgeous set!  There were 4 layers to the peony, but I used 3 layers for mine.  I used the "congrats" stamp from Honey Bee Stamps, and topped it off with some gems.  I layered it on top of some pink glitter paper, and then adhered it to the card.  I realized afterwards,  that I didn't stamp leaves lol....next time!

20 Years of Harry Potter

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made that was inspired by 20 years of Harry Potter!  I can't believe it's been that long since Harry and his friends were introduced to us.

The Sweet Stamp Shop has the cutest stamp sets and I fell in love with this one when it first came out.

Here is my card...

I created the purple and black background on the right flap, by stamping/embossing a star stamp and then using the smooshing technique using distress inks.   I also used yellow patterned paper on the left flap. The cute stamped images and sentiment is from the Sweet Stamp Shop, and were colored in using my zig color brush markers.

"National Selfie Day"

Hi Everyone!

So happy to be back.  I haven't been actively posting as I've been taking time to organize my crafts.  I unfortunately don't get to spend a lot of time at the craft table, so my time is divided between organizing and crafting.

Getting organized and pre-planning a bit has helped me out a lot!   I plan out my project before I get to the table.  Once there, it's all about pulling out the right items instead of having to search for them through piles, which I did for a long time.

I've been organizing my stamps, stencils, and embossing folders, swatches for my copics, zigs, and inks, and trying to find systems that work for my other craft stuff.  Not completely organized, but getting there.

I created this card last week and was able to post to Instagram yesterday for "National Selfie Day."  I'm waiting for a couple of items to arrive for a small giveaway.  Will post to my Instagram soon, so do stop by!

Here is my card...

I created the background using distress inks and a stencil from MFT.  The stamped image is from Love Cynthia, and was colored in using copics.  The "love" sentiment die is from MFT.  I topped off the card with Nuvo drops.

Princess Jasmine Card

Hi Everyone!

Here is a card I made using the cute Jasmine stamp from the Sweet Stamp Shop.  I'm really loving this layout and will have to make a few more cards with similar layouts.

Here is my card...

I created the background using distress inks and a stencil from Heidi Swapp...love this one in particular.  I went over the design with perfect pearls to give it some sparkle.  I used Lawn Fawn Hillside Dies to cut out the front bottom flap of the card.  The stamp is from the Sweet Stamp Shop, and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.
