Beauty and the Beast

Hi Everyone,

I have a birthday card that I made using the "Hope Princess" stamp set.  These are some
very adorable stamps!  Beauty and the Beast premieres this weekend, so I thought this Belle stamp was fitting! I have a couple of more Beauty and the Beast inspired cards that I'll post before the week is over.

Here is my card...

I created the background by doing some no line water coloring.  It was bright, so I layered some vellum over it and then placed the cut out stamp on top using 3D dots.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.  I die cut "happy" in some glitter felt, and then stamped "birthday."

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Crafty Friends Challenge Blog - #53 For a Child (3/24)
Try Stampin' On Tuesday - Challenge 313 "Beautiful Flowers" (3/28)
Simon Says Stamp - Handmande Flowers (3/20)

  1. This is such a charming little card! I really like how you used the no-line watercoloring technique and how you toned it down with vellum. Your little girl is so cute and her colors stand out perfectly against the background! This was truly a delightful card to see and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
